Summary
There is a particular weight that comes after being wronged. It sits somewhere in the chest, or behind the eyes, or in the base of the throat where you cannot quite reach it. You know what I am talking about. You have felt it. Maybe you feel it right now. Someone did something to you, or said something, or failed to show up in a way that mattered, and now there is this low and persistent hum inside you that says, they should not have gotten away with that. And the hum is not wrong, exactly. The world can be genuinely unjust, and some things deserve a response.
