Summary

In episode 366, I speak with entertainer, author, philanthropist, and charity founder, Peter Nicholls. 'Change the One' is the simple vision of Peter that came about when inspecting the devastation of a Tsunami in Papua New Guinea back in 1997. Then from jeweller, to entertainer, to finance broker, he is now impacting the world, one act of kindness at a time. Peter recalls that first encounter: “As I stood on top of the rubble, trees, rocks and silt, 3 stories high that had been cleared off the road and stretched as far as the eye could see, I looked to the heavens in utter frustration and helplessness, cursed for the little I could do, the task was insurmountable. The current focus is in Vietnam and the Philippines, to provide ongoing relief, care, and assistance to people and communities in remote and underprivileged areas, addressing shortages of consumables, fresh drinking water, food supplies, school facilities, education and supporting self-sustainability. This is an inspiring podcast, not to be missed.
