Summary
In this meditation, I guide you through a simple mantra practice using the ancient word “Hineni,” a Hebrew phrase meaning “Here I am.” This phrase has been used for centuries as an expression of presence, openness and readiness. In this practice, it becomes a gentle way of returning to the present moment. We begin by settling into the body and the breath, allowing awareness to deepen naturally. From here, the word “Hineni” is introduced, softly repeated within, helping to steady attention and anchor awareness in the here and now. As the meditation deepens, the word may gradually fall away, leaving a quieter sense of presence, simply being here, in this moment. This practice is not about effort or repetition alone, but about recognising the simplicity of being present. This meditation offers a moment of calm, whether you are pausing during the day or winding down before sleep, helping you rest in awareness, presence and peace. This meditation supports presence, focus and inner calm.
