Summary

We have all been there. We were excited about starting something new, and then six weeks later, it stopped. Often, if we pause to think about what happened, our egos will begin making excuses or start with negative commentary. Now, let’s shift our mindset and perspective to the why. Why did I stop meditating or going to the gym? You insert what you backslid on. We can sit in silence, contemplating our 'why' for backsliding. Be brutally honest with yourself. It may be as simple as the fact that I wasn’t really into it. If it’s something health-related that will improve your wellbeing, you may need to strategize another approach and execution plan. Beginning new patterns is not easy. Being deeply grounded in our why is relevant to maintaining and enjoying the new endeavor. Dig into why you backslid, the perspective and clarity gained will be wisdom used in the near future! You didn’t come this far to only come this far, my friends!
