Summary

The Knowing Beneath Burnout: Living in Emotional Entanglement In this episode, we explore a quieter truth about burnout. What if you’re not exhausted because you’re doing too much — but because you’ve been living inside long-standing emotional entanglement and over-responsibility? Many women, especially women 40+, aren’t just tired from work. They’re depleted from years of managing emotional climates, staying in misaligned jobs or relationships, self-silencing to keep the peace, and using willpower where support and structure were needed. I share parts of my own story — carrying adult responsibility from a young age, appearing steady while internally overwhelmed, and experiencing a physical collapse from severe burnout in 2023. During recovery, I began using creative expression and somatic awareness to untangle what rest alone couldn’t repair. This conversation distinguishes between ordinary overwork exhaustion and the deeper corrosion of emotional messiness and misplaced responsibility. Because exhaustion isn’t always asking for more rest. Sometimes it’s asking for softness. Space. Creative healing. A reorganization of your inner systems. At the end of the episode, I introduce an intimate program for women called The Untangling — a held container for those ready to move from emotional overwhelm into clarity, vitality, and sustainable structure. If this resonates in your body, you’ll know. If this episode stirred something true within you, share it with a fellow soul on the path.
