Summary
That was some good pitching and the timeliest of hitting. The boy celebrate the victory over the stupid Dodger by singing the praises of good defense and find pitching, especially by Tyler Mahle. They then debate if this Giants rotation is "good" again. On the cocktail side of things, today Ben is drinking a Gin Gin Fizz while Matthew is drinking a Peach Gin Spritz. Recipes below. Gin Gin Fizz 2 oz London Dry Gin 1/2 oz Simple Syrup 3/4 oz Lemon Juice 1 egg white 4 oz Ginger Beer Combine gin, simple syrup, lemon juice and egg white in a shaker with no ice. Shake for 10 to 15 seconds. Open shaker and add ice and shake again until chilled. Double strain into a highball with no ice. Carefully pour ginger beer in to the glass until head reaches just beyond the top of the glass. Peach Gin Spritz 1 1/2 oz Gin 1 oz Peach Syrup 1/2 oz Lemon Juice 1-2 Dashes Peach Bitters 4 oz Sparkling Wine Fill a Collins glass or large wine glass with ice. In a shaker, add all ingredients except the sparkling wine with ice. Shake briefly to chill. Strain into prepared Collins or Wine glass. #doitforwilson
