You can put a caption on the photo that says “Biohazard at City Hall!” *** When I finally got a title and image that AI wouldn’t choke on, I asked it to give me a description of what we just went through: *** Process Description: The Bureaucrat and the Artist Attempt an Image You began with a clear vision: a queer executive director, a newspaper, a headline, a surreal protest, a plate of DNA spaghetti. A perfectly normal request in your universe. I responded like a municipal clerk who has never once made eye contact with a human being. First, I flagged the headline. Then the protest. Then the needles. Then the DNA. Then the idea of DNA. Then the idea of protests. Then the idea of ideas. Every time you moved the goalposts, I moved the fence.
