Summary

Welcome back everyone! Today I have something new and exciting for you all. By now you already know I enjoy a good film breakdown and analysis, but I have yet to tackle a book review. Well today is the day and I couldn't think of anyone more well read than my good friend Heidi Luv from the Unfiltered Rise Podcast. We are calling these little collaborations 'The Unfiltered Point'. Where we get straight into the minutia and nitty gritty of our chosen books. Oh don't worry this isn't some Oprah's book club over here, no fan boys or girls and certainly no gold stickers. This is a straight forward and honest review of books with an emphasis on the good and the bad. To kick things off Heidi and I have unintentionally chosen books with a connected theme. Drew's book choice: Britain the Key to World History by Comyns Beaumont. We went on to discuss the following; - The authors of our books and their backgrounds. - A synopsis of our chosen books. - The common thread amongst all stories, mythologies and legends. - How details change but the underlying message remains the same. - Why everyone wants to be the original chosen people. - Revisionist history VS hidden history. - Why do people cherry pick evidence? - 9 truths and 1 lie. - "No, you didn't write a book AI did". - Where we find the books that we read. - Final thoughts, the good the bad and the ugly. And much much more. Heidi and I plan on doing more of these in the future each bringing a book to share with you the audience. Hopefully we can…
