Summary
On February 13, 2017, a man travelling under the name Kim Chol was approached by two women inside Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Malaysia. CCTV captured one woman in a white “LOL” shirt approaching him before a substance was wiped across his face. Within minutes, the man became violently ill and died while being transported to hospital. The victim was soon identified as Kim Jong-nam, the estranged older half-brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, and investigators discovered traces of VX, one of the world's deadliest nerve agents, on his face. In this episode of You Can't Unhear , we explore the shocking assassination of Kim Jong-nam, the strange hidden-camera prank operation that allegedly recruited Indonesian woman Siti Aisyah and Vietnamese woman Đoàn Thị Hương, the North Korean suspects who fled Malaysia, and the later reports connecting Kim Jong-nam to the CIA.
