Summary
For years, the family of Yuvita Tri Rezeki, known as Yupi, believed she was alive, working somewhere outside Bandung, and deliberately refusing to come home. Whenever they posted missing-person announcements online, Yupi herself would suddenly call, angrily demanding that her family stop searching for her. But in June 2026, the truth finally emerged. Yupi had allegedly been held captive and severely abused by her boyfriend, Taufik Hidayat, while being moved between boarding houses around Bandung. According to the case allegations, the angry phone calls her family received were made under threats and coercion.
