Summary

In Psalm 119:65–72 we see that God’s correction is not cruelty, but kindness — the mercy that draws wandering hearts back home. The psalmist confesses that affliction became his teacher, leading him from pride to discernment, from rebellion to reverence. What once felt like punishment revealed itself as love, and the law that once seemed heavy became his delight. In God’s hands, even discipline becomes a doorway to joy.
