Summary
Maggie Gyllenhaal is an accomplished actor. She's also written and directed an incredible indie film, THE LOST DAUGHTER. But THE BRIDE! is hardly the follow-up anybody wanted to see. There are redeeming qualities of THE BRIDE! -- Jessie Buckley's performance, in particular -- but, all in all, it's a complete mess. Is it a mob movie? Is it an uprising movie? Is it a monster movie?
