A deeply commited Jewish activist, Laura is an important figure in the American pro-Israel community and holds leadership roles in many of the nation's most important Zionist and Jewish organizations. Laura joined the Unapologetically Jewish Podcast with Shana Meyerson to discuss what it means to follow your passion and turn it into tangible results. Laura both inspires and teaches us how all Jews can—and should be—activists for Israel. Laura Stein is Of Counsel to the law firm of Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP and since 1995 has practiced in the areas of securities class action litigation, complex litigation and legislative law. Laura has developed a national practice serving as an asset recovery expert, with a focus on minimizing losses suffered by shareholders due to corporate fraud and breaches of fiduciary duty working with hundreds of institutional investors worldwide, including Israel. Laura earned her BA and JD from the University of Pennsylvania. Laura currently serves as a leader in several community and national organizations. She sits on the National Campaign Advisory Committee for Israel Bonds as well serving as the Chair of the Women’s Division of Los Angeles, the Board of Directors of Beat the Streets Los Angeles, the Board of Governors of Cedars Sinai Medical Center, WIZO Israel Leadership Forum, and on the Board of Directors of the American Friends of Sheba Medical Center.
