Knowing nothing of UFOs and ETs, the girls thought they saw goblins. FOUR ALIENS IN THE BACKYARD. At 2am on October 13, 1975, Mayme H awoke to her dog barking. Looking outside her home in Alton, Illinois, she saw a 3½-foot-tall humanoid in a silver jumpsuit in her backyard. Moments later, it was joined by three others, and all four ran single-file into the forest behind her home.
