Today we’re anchored in Gospel of Matthew 5:6, where Jesus Christ says, “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.” — Matthew 5:6 (ESV). That verse hits because it exposes what you’re really chasing. Hunger and thirst aren’t casual, they’re intense, they’re urgent, they’re necessary. And Jesus is saying that same level of desire should be directed toward righteousness, toward being aligned with God, not just getting results.
