Summary

In this episode, I explore the quality of our decisions and the difference between deciding ahead of time and deciding in the moment. When we make decisions ahead of time, we are more likely to act from our values, long-term goals, and the life we actually want to create. But when we decide in the moment, we often let comfort, urgency, exhaustion, or immediate gratification take over. I also discuss the importance of recommitting to decisions we have already made, especially when they have become so normal that we forget we once chose them. Whether it is a relationship, career, community, health goal, or way of living, intentional living means making a decision, following through, reassessing, and then choosing again.
