Summary
I greet you in Jesus’ precious name! It is Wednesday morning, the 29th of April, 2026, and this is your friend, Angus Buchan, with a thought for today. We go to 2 Chronicles 16:9a: “For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.” The Lord is looking for a man, a woman this morning that He can trust. He wants to support you, He wants to make you strong, and He wants you to speak up. Then we go to John 4:34: “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work.” I want to ask you a question this morning. What gets you up early in the morning? What is the thing that gets you excited every time? I have two sons. My second son, if you want to get him up and going, you talk to him about horses. He is our “horse whisperer” on the farm. He knows more about horses than anybody else I know. From a little boy, when he was still in nappies, I used to take him for rides on my horse, and now he is a horseman who is second to none. In fact, he has people on his farm. He brings in young folk, and he teaches them the finer points of horsemanship. If you want to make him start talking to you, just mention horses. Then I have three grandsons and these boys are into paddling. They get into that canoe and they paddle. They have got medals to prove it. If you want to get them going, talk to them about paddling. Then I have got another two grandsons. These boys are ceded Number 1 and Number 2 in their school in tennis. If you want to get them talking to you, talk about tennis. Then I have another two grandsons and their whole focus is on horses as well, roping horses, gentling horses, starting horses and these boys can ride. And then yours truly. If you want to…
