Summary
Christopher Kuehl has spent nearly two decades watching how Christians lose their bearings over the question of Israel and the Jewish people. Christopher has traveled to more than thirty countries, lived in Israel multiple times, worked as a photographer for Sony and Rolling Stone, and founded four technology companies. He is currently earning his master's degree in theology and serves as COO of Restore7 and founder of Present Witness, a ministry addressing modern theological questions around Israel, the Jewish people, and the church. Christopher is the author of Is God a Zionist? Finding God's Story in a World Obsessed with Israel. In this conversation we explore why good men and women lose their minds over the Jewish question, how antisemitism captures its adherents and becomes the gravity around which everything spins, and why the modern state of Israel has become a theological flashpoint the church cannot afford to handle carelessly. We also discuss the shared pre-Jesus seeking path that led both Christopher and me through Burning Man, ayahuasca, and the New Age before we found Christ — and why the New Age cannot syncretize the Old Testament. If you've watched friends or family fall into obsessive antisemitism, or you're trying to make sense of Israel theologically, this conversation offers a framework for thinking clearly. 👉 Exiting the New Age — A course for people leaving the New Age and those who love them: https://willspencer.co/exit 👉 Mentorship for men: https://willspencer.co/mentorship TOPICS DISCUSSED The scapegoating pattern across history Why October 7th was a break point for the church How antisemitism captures and consumes its adherents The New Age connection to modern antisemitism The shared pre-Jesus seeking path through Burning Man, ayahuasca, and t…
