Have you met someone who had drunk alcohol? It messes up their thinking so they make poor decisions. Many of the choices a drunk person makes is NOT what they would normally make. This week we are learning about how a big party and lots of wine led to the king needing to find a new queen. Who would he choose? God was working behind the scenes to make sure that one of his children would become the new queen of Persia.
