Nvidia -backed Figure AI has been pushed by the White House directly, with its humanoid robot. Now the New York State Salamanca City Central School District is introducing Sally, a lifelike silicone teacher who will know students not by name but ID number. Sally is made by Reealbotix, which draws heavily from the language models of OpenAI, Meta and Google. Two are their hyper-realistic robots were given Hebrew names: Aria and David. Besides robotics, the U.S. has spent $30 billion to replace paper with digital devices in schools. This has reportedly led to a noticeable decline in cognitive ability among Gen Z.
