Summary
Varying conditions in China brought varied results as Pascal Wehrlein, and incredibly Lucas di Grassi took a win apiece as Formula E hit new heights in random results and formbooks being torn up at Shanghai. While timetables were amended and the obligatory contentious incidents played out, Wehrlein and Porsche took over at the top of the points standings with a sublime Saturday performance. 24 hours later it was a tale of two races as wet and dry set-up cars turned the race on its own head with Lucas di Grassi and Jean-Eric Vergne proving that experience counts with calculated dry-weather set-ups that came good at the very end of the race. Dan Ticktum of course features with a bizarre penalty that involved The Race’s very own Sam Smith, who discusses the incident with host Matt Beer. Hosted on Acast.
