Myth is one of the oldest ways human beings organize origin, suffering, authority, memory, sacredness, morality, and identity. Drawing on the work of Joseph Campbell, Dr. Rey explores the recurring structures of comparative mythology: departure, trial, descent, revelation, return, and renewal.
