Summary
Prince Andrew has said he met Jeffrey Epstein in 1999 through Ghislaine Maxwell, whom Andrew had known for years; other reporting has suggested questions about whether the relationship may have started earlier, but the basic public version is that Maxwell acted as the bridge between the royal world and Epstein’s world.
