Nerdeen has spoken for the Palestinian cause on television programs & at events & conferences worldwide & has organized marches with tens of thousands in support of Palestinian liberation. A graduate of the CUNY school of Law, Nerdeen has organized successful campaigns to pass a resolution by the student government & faculty of CUNY Law to cut all ties & divest from all zionist institutions & defend the right for Palestinians to resist colonization. In 2021 Nerdeen led a campaign that successfully defeated a proposal to adopt the IHRA definition of antisemitism which it equates with anti-zionism.
