Summary

In the railroad town of Brewster, Ohio, the Wandle House was built to welcome railroad workers. Today, it welcomes paranormal investigators. Built in 1916 by the Wheeling & Lake Erie Railroad, the building provided railroad crews with a place to stay between assignments. With more than 60 dormitory rooms, a restaurant, theater, library, and bowling alley, it became a home away from home for generations of railroad workers. Today, the Brewster-Sugar Creek Historical Society preserves the Wandle House as a museum dedicated to that rich railroad history. But history isn't the only thing visitors remember. Over the years, reports of shadow figures, unexplained voices, apparitions, phantom footsteps, and other strange encounters have added an unexpected chapter to the Wandle House's story, drawing paranormal investigators eager to discover what may still linger inside its historic walls. As a trustee of the Brewster-Sugar Creek Historical Society, Andrew Hess has a unique perspective on both the history and the mystery of the Wandle House. He joins us to explore the building's remarkable past, the unexplained experiences that spark paranormal investigations, and why this historic landmark continues to fascinate everyone who walks through its doors. #TheGraveTalks #WandleHouse #HauntedOhio #RailroadHistory #Paranormal #GhostHunting #HistoricHauntings #HauntedMuseum #OhioGhosts #ParanormalPodcast For more information on paranormal investigations, click here .
