Summary
Luke 8:40-56 tells the story of two desperate people—Jairus, whose daughter was dying, and a woman suffering for years. Many touched Jesus, but only one was healed because of her faith. Jesus’ miracles weren’t about delaying death but pointing to something greater: eternal life. He came not to make our earthly lives better, but to conquer death itself.
