Summary
Most people think of paramedics as the people who show up in an emergency, but a growing program in Saskatchewan is focused on preventing those emergencies in the first place. Community paramedics help connect vulnerable people with housing, addiction treatment, health care and other supports before a crisis lands them in the ER. To talk about this, Evan is joined by Sherri Jule, Director/Chief EMS, Provincial Community Paramedicine and Jessica Heathcote, Advanced Care Paramedic.
