Why I Love Las Vegas on Dr. Jeffrey Roth’s Looking Good Feeling Great Podcast EP06 – S04 “I’m a dad, husband, huge sports fan and a medically certified practicing plastic surgeon in Las Vegas!” Living and growing up in what was a relatively small town way back when, Dr Roth, In recent years has seen the tremendous growth and popularity of sports come of age in Las Vegas. We already know that Dr Roth is a big sports fan and is associated as a fight doctor for Top Rank Boxing. But it’s not just boxing that Dr Roth and his co-host Darrell Craig Harris love. Just recently, the growth of sports teams setting up camp in Las Vegas is growing at a rate as never seen before. Sports stadiums are being built and money is pouring into the community from those sports teams and the benefits to the local economy in all areas are positive. It has developed from the days that Dr Roth remembers being at Caesars Palace car park. The first place to act as an arena for large boxing matches in Las Vegas. Some of the greatest boxing matches were between four boxers affectionately known as the four kings! All the Hollywood celebrities and sports stars from other sports were in attendance and it was an electric atmosphere. Then came the UFC, and onto the raiders professional football team, The women’s national basketball team - The Aces. The Triple A baseball team, the professional Lacrosse team known as the Desert Dogs. And…The Golden Knights Ice Hockey team, who just won their first Stanley Cup in the final against Florida. So…Las Vegas has become a legitimate sports town and Formula 1 comes to Las Vegas for the first time in November 2023.
