This episode examines the role of running estimates within the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) and why they are essential to maintaining shared understanding between current operations and future planning. The discussion highlights that running estimates are not simply formatted slides or quad charts, but rather a continuous analytical process conducted by staff subject matter experts across each warfighting function.
