Summary
I received the sad news of the death Joanna Crosby when I was at the Leeds Symposium of Food History and Traditions in April. Joanna was a talented food historian specialising in the history of apples and orchards, and she came on the podcast in 2024 to talk about her research and excellent book Apples and Orchards since the Eighteenth Century. I thought I would put out the episode we recorded together, published in January 2024 as a special episode in her memory.
