Summary
The Cavs split a home and home set with the Dallas Mavericks, winning in blowout fashion 138-105 on Friday night before falling in a matinee game 130-120 today. Evan Mobley was the standout for Cleveland in the two game set, averaging 25 points and 9 rebounds. Donovan Mitchell also averaged 25 points and almost 10 assists against the Mavs. The lone highlight in Sunday's loss was the long awaited return of Max Strus. Strus looked outstanding with 24 points and 8 rebounds in his first game action in almost 10 months. Other than Strus the game was defined by the lack of perimeter defense once again by the Cavs, allowing Dallas to have 35 assists on 46 made shots. The Cavs are back in action Tuesday night against struggling Milwaukee. We'll be back on Wednesday to recap that game and look at the schedule ahead. Thanks for joining us and, as always, Go Cavs!
