Summary
As California Governor Gavin Newsom continues his national tour, positioning himself for a run at the White House — like at SXSW, where he touted California's "progressive" tax structure as superior to low-tax states like Florida and Texas — one California candidate is demanding an end to the gaslighting. Sean Collinson, the No Party Preference ("Independent") candidate for Lieutenant Governor in the June 2, 2026, primary, says it's long past time for Newsom and Sacramento Democrats to stop blatantly lying about California's tax burden and economic realities and start acknowledging the state's documented failures. Sean joins me to discuss his campaign and his vision for California.
