Summary
Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling will run their Summer Sun Princess '26 show live on July 18th exclusively on WRESTLEUNIVERSE. The card is stacked, with Miyu Yamashita looking to make history by becoming a five-time Princess of Princess Champion against Yuki Arai, and the DayDream team of Rika Tatsumi and Miu Watanabe putting their Princess Tag Team Championships on the line against Kyōraku Kyōmei. Q: What was the felling like when during your match against Miu Watanabe at Grand Princess, when the referee hit the 3 count and you became the new Princess of Princess champion in front of the largest crowd in TJPW history ? A: Fighting through to the end in the main event on the big stage of Ryogoku Kokugikan, and winning there, that came first, and then afterward it slowly sank in that I had actually won the title. Looking out at all the fans, seeing each and every one of them, I felt like I want to entertain and excite each person even more now that I have this belt. Q: You and Mifu Ashida made a great tag team during this year's Max Heart tournament. Any future plans to go after the Princess tag team championship? A: It made me really happy to have a tag partner again after a while! In the past my tag partners were usually seniors "senpai", so teaming with a junior "kohai" like Mifu came with a bit of nervousness and pressure, but I also feel like I’m growing through it. Most of all, I really love Mifu’s wrestling and her spirit, so I’d be happy if we can keep working hard together! And of course, I want to win the tag belts too! Q: If you could defend the Princess of Princess title against any American wrestler, who would it be against? A: There are so many wrestlers that it’s hard to name just one!
