Summary
October 1997. A woman named Della takes the night shift at a deserted tollbooth on a mountain road nobody uses anymore. The state is about to decommission the pass—too many accidents, too many people going missing between the switchbacks. Della's job is to sit in the booth until dawn and log the last cars through. She brings a thermos of coffee, a paperback, and a radio that only picks up static around the bend. The first car comes through at midnight. A green sedan with no plates. The driver doesn't hand her a ticket—just stares through the window with both hands on the wheel. Della writes down the time. The same car comes back an hour later. Then again. Then again. By three in the morning, the road is empty except for that green sedan, circling the pass over and over, and Della realizes she stopped logging the trips because she's no longer sure which pass she's watching. #TalesFromTheColdRoom #FexingoHorror #HorrorPodcast #WhiteAshPass #Tollbooth #Della #GreenSedan #October1997 #MountainRoad #Switchbacks #NightShift #CircularRoad #LostTime #LunaReads #SoloNarration #AtmosphericHorror #SlowBurn #Unsettling Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
