Summary
Luna checks into the Garfield Hotel outside Elko, Nevada, a crumbling Route 66 relic that should have been demolished decades ago. It is a dry, wind-scoured February night, and the clerk gives her a key to Room 16 without meeting her eyes. The room smells of carpet cleaner and something older, something that has seeped into the baseboards. She spends the night watching the door — not because she hears anything, but because the crack of light under it will not stay the same width. The shadow that passes beneath it does not have feet. By morning, she learns that Room 16 has been locked from the outside for seven years, and that the man who checked in before her never checked out. But the clerk is still at his desk, and he remembers her name. This episode is a quiet, dust-choked meditation on thresholds, on the rooms we should never enter, and on the doors that open only from the inside. #FexingoHorror #HorrorPodcast #TalesFromTheColdRoom #GarfieldHotel #Elko #Nevada #Route66 #Room16 #ThresholdHorror #DoorHorror #Luna #SoloNarrated #AtmosphericHorror #SlowBurn #FebruaryNight #CarpetCleaner #ShadowWithoutFeet #LockedRoom Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
