Summary
Luna stands in her grandmother's study, holding the book of borrowed names. The woman who was her grandmother is still alive in this room, but she is not the woman Luna remembers. Before Luna can decide whether to take the book or leave it, the shadow child speaks through the mirror with a voice that sounds like Luna's own. The study begins to dissolve, and Luna is pulled into a memory that is not hers — a hot summer day in a Sycamore Ridge that never existed, where a little girl named Esther is building a house of twigs and string. Luna realizes the name she borrowed is Esther's, and the house she built is the one that never existed. The episode ends with Luna standing in a field of tall grass, holding a photograph of a little girl who looks exactly like her, and the shadow child standing at the edge of the field, waiting. #SycamoreRidge #FexingoHorror #HorrorPodcast #SerializedHorror #SoloNarrated #Luna #BorrowedName #Esther #TheHouseThatNeverExisted #ThePhotograph #TheShadowChild #TheGrandmothersStudy #TheDissolvingRoom #TheFieldOfGrass #TheThirdLamp #TheCycle #ForgottenHistory #EchoesOfThePast Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
