Summary
Luna stands in the past Sycamore Ridge, a match held over the unlit third lamp. The young grandmother watches from the shadows of the old mill, and the shadow child whispers a name that isn't Luna's. To light the lamp might save everything—or trap her here forever. But the match burns down, and in the flame's reflection, Luna sees a door that wasn't there before. She steps through into a version of Beech Street where the lamp is already lit and a funeral procession moves toward the church. The mourners wear her face. The coffin is empty.
