Summary
Trina Kennedy is three and a half weeks out from a hysterectomy and already back at the gym — on the bike, doing light core work, staying within her restrictions, while her surgeon continues to describe everything she does as sounding "really hard." This is her second conversation, and it goes deeper than the first. She's a 20-year registered nurse who now works in the optimization space, and she has a lot to say about the difference between being kept alive and actually feeling well — including her own experience with a thyroid that was "normal" for years until someone looked at it differently, and testosterone she never thought to consider until recently. The conversation also covers GLPs, why the standard lab ranges aren't written for people who train, how to be your own advocate without going down a WebMD rabbit hole, and why motivation is bullshit but consistency isn't.
