Do you stick with your current ecosystem and accept the higher redemption costs, do you pivot and rebuild into a different ecosystem that better aligns with your redemption goals, or do you adjust your travel behavior—like flying out of a different airport (via driving or rideshare to one) or taking less convenient routes—to make your points go further? And just to add a constraint: running multiple ecosystems isn’t really an option due to the added complexity, so this is strictly a one-ecosystem strategy.
