Kate Leschyshyn is an international partnerships and defense support specialist who serves as Head of International Partnerships at the Come Back Alive Foundation, one of Ukraine's largest and most prominent organizations supporting the country's defense forces. In this role, she develops relationships with international donors, civil-society organizations, businesses and institutional partners, helping turn foreign financial support into practical capabilities for Ukrainian service personnel. Before joining Come Back Alive, she worked in the technology sector, including at Lemon.io, before moving into Ukraine's wartime civil-society and defense support ecosystem. ----------Come Back Alive (Повернись живим) was established in 2014, following Russia's initial aggression against Ukraine. The organization supplies military units with equipment, training and other capabilities designed to improve effectiveness while protecting the lives of Ukrainian service personnel. Its work extends considerably beyond conventional humanitarian aid. Come Back Alive provides Ukrainian forces with specialist equipment and capabilities including communications systems, vehicles, reconnaissance equipment and technologies related to drone warfare and counter-drone defense. It also supports training programs and increasingly works on the longer-term institutional development of Ukraine's defense ecosystem.
