Joyner Elara Newton is determined to prove she can fit in on Earth—and what better way than by helping with the church’s annual bake sale? With loving husband Dean by her side, Elara sets out to create the perfect assortment of sweet treats. But when a friendly little competition with some fiercely traditional church ladies turns into a battle for baking supremacy, Elara’s competitive streak takes over. Unfortunately, Elara has a few advantages her fellow bakers don’t: a mysterious pantry from Jupiter, some decidedly unconventional ingredients, and a willingness to experiment with the laws of reality. What could possibly go wrong? As the church bake sale heats up, strange things begin happening among the contestants—and Dean starts wondering whether Elara’s shortcuts have gone a little too far.
