Summary

Alithea Tuttle is the frontwoman, bassist, and songwriter for L.A. band Rocket, and always thought that dance would be her focus, until a serious injury at sixteen. In this episode we'll hear how everything changed when a childhood friend convinced an at-first reluctant Alithea to try her hand at singing, and she found her musical path in her mother's closet during the pandemic. The journey to growing her songwriting confidence is documented in the full length debut, R is For Rocket. We hear what that sounds like, and how in a band with her childhood friends has provided the safety and support she wants and requires in her life as a touring musician.
