Summary
Americans have been talking about voting for “the lesser of two evils” for decades. But not every election is actually a choice between evil and evil. In this piece, I look at where that mindset came from, why it became so common in modern politics, and why I think voters have more power than we sometimes admit. I also give a few examples of candidates, that if they win their primaries, will allow for a choice in November that will not be the lesser of two evils.
