Summary

So I thought things were going great until I mentioned that my parents really need a place to stay, and my girlfriend of only seven months started acting like a total Karen about the whole situation. She honestly has the audacity to say she won't allow them to move in, even though I am the one who actually owns the house and pays every single bill. It is just wild to me that someone who has been in my life for such a short time thinks she is entitled to make executive decisions about my family and my property. She seriously expects me to turn my back on my own parents just so she can keep the guest room as her personal yoga studio, and the level of selfishness she is showing right now is a massive red flag. It is honestly shocking how quickly some people try to take control of your life the second they get comfortable. We see these kinds of power plays all the time on the subreddit, and it is always a reminder that you have to protect your boundaries before someone tries to walk all over them.
