Summary
In this episode of "Reality Check," theoretical physicist Maaneli "Max" Derakhshani returns for a fourth part of his conversation with Ross about lunar anomalies. Together, they walk through some of the most contested footage in the public UAP record frame by frame. The conversation opens on a triangular object visible in an Apollo 17 photograph, working out why the Pentagon released only a low-resolution version when a high-resolution copy sits in the March to the Moon archive. Derakhshani responds to Avi Loeb's argument the lunar UAP records are camera artifacts. He points to Edgar Mitchell stating he saw the objects with the naked eye and lays out his own analysis of the STS-48 and STS-80 footage, including the case that one object was deliberately testing its propulsion against a known weapon. Derakhshani methodically dismantles NASA's official "ice debris" explanation, while Coulthart reveals exclusive accounts from witnesses and Aboriginal communities near that remote Australian coastline and calls for NASA to answer to Congress under oath. From there, Ross and Max turn to fastwalkers logged by Defense Support Program satellites over Australia, aboriginal witness accounts of block-sized objects in the same skies and the question of whether astronauts have been quietly told never to discuss any of this. The episode closes on Mitchell's own public statement given before his death: that talking openly about what Apollo crews witnessed was treated as treason.
