In this episode, my mom and I talk through some familiar titles like Harry Potter, Star Wars, Frozen, and Moana, but more importantly, we talk about the why behind what we choose to watch. Just because we grew up with something or because everyone else is watching it does not automatically make it right for our kids. Entertainment is not neutral, and what our children consume is shaping how they see the world, authority, identity, and truth. Our heart is to encourage you, not overwhelm you. You do not have to get it perfect, but you can be intentional. We share a simple framework to help you think through movies before you press play, and how to use what your kids are watching as an opportunity for conversation, not just consumption.
