Stories pass from porch to porch, from bartender to late-night patron—stories of a haunted bridge that was the backdrop for a dark tragedy, ships and crew that seemingly vanished into thin air with no explanation, and unfathomably dark happenings in a boarding school that was supposed to help children. Some call these legends. Others call them warnings. So today, we’re traveling to the east coast of the United States, and visiting a state where history and the unexplained seeming to blur together.
