Summary
In a world where self-striving and self-accomplishments are gloried in; where those who have accomplished much by themselves are aggrandized, we see quite the contrary in this passage in 1 Timothy. Paul in this passage shows us the utter inability of men to save themselves from their sin, and this is what Mark Ben Thuku seeks to show us in this sermon, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners!
