Summary
The essence of being captured in an enemy's territory results in unquestionable fear and hopelessness for us as humans due to the condition of our powerlessness therein. However, this is not what is seen in this text in 1 Samuel. Even though the ark of God has been captured by the Philistines, we clearly see God demonstrating His power within their territory. Pastor John Musyimi, in this sermon, seeks to show us that God is supreme everywhere even where the enemy lives!
