Summary
A young Girl Scout queen from Robbinsville, Saanvi Rao, is set to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at Trenton Thunder’s “Garden State Night” — and she’s earned every bit of the spotlight. After winning the prestigious Girl Scouts’ Gold Award for her bold campaign to fight fast fashion waste, Saanvi’s impact is now on display at the ballpark. The Thunder are also auctioning off special “Fighting Finches” jerseys, with proceeds going directly to the Girl Scouts of Central and Southern New Jersey. It’s a powerful blend of local pride, sustainability, and community support — proving that one young changemaker can spark big change.
